ÖHMI EuroCert® - recognized Technical Surveillance Organization (TSO) for specialized waste management companies since 1997

The term “specialized waste management company” (abr.: “Efb”) was defined and legally protected 1996 in § 56 of the Closed Substance Cycle Waste Management Act (KrW-/AbfG). It encourages high-class quality.

Requirements that need to be fulfilled in terms of “Efb” are imbedded in the “Efb”- Regulation. An additional certification according to ISO 9001 (quality management) and ISO 14001 (environmental management) should be considered by all the companies which are eager to enhance their image with such topics as waste disposal, environmental safety or customer orientation.

With a certification as “Efb” you prove authorities, your business partners and customers that you fulfill the qualifications and meet the requirements of the Closed Substance Cycle Waste Management Act (KrWG) in the best possible way.
